Archaeopter Fusilave
Bomber-Priest of the Forge-Sky
The Archaeopter Fusilave is the bomber pattern of the Mechanicus' recovered three-rotor sky-craft, sharing the Stratoraptor's airframe but reconfigured around an internal bomb-bay and four wing-mounted missile launchers. Pilot-priests of the Fusilave brotherhoods are trained in the Litany of Sanctified Descent, a binary-cant routine that synchronises bomb-release with ground-pattern auspex-mapping data fed up from forward Skitarii Rangers. Each bomb canister is consecrated as a single anointed offering, sealed with hexagonal cog wax and inscribed with the name of the offending Chaos or xenos warlord whose position it is meant to obliterate. In the air, the Fusilave hovers above the battlefield like a great brass-and-bronze raptor, deliberate and patient, dropping its sacred ordnance only when the targeting cogitator and the pilot-priest's MIU have reached unanimous certainty. Its four missile launchers can engage secondary armoured targets during ingress and egress, while a Cognis-augmented dorsal turret keeps light interceptors at bay. Veteran tech-priests speak of the Fusilave's bomb-runs in liturgical terms: not as attacks, but as 'rituals of vertical erasure'.

Tactical Role
Fusilaves provide deep-strike heavy ordnance support, dropping sanctified canister bombs onto enemy command posts, fortifications and dense formations. Their wing-mounted missile launchers also engage armoured targets of opportunity during ingress and egress.
