Warboss Grimskull embodies everything that makes the Orks one of the most dangerous species in the galaxy — raw physical power, an almost supernatural resilience, and a savage cunning that belies the brutish exterior of his kind. Rising from the blood-soaked ranks of the Goff Clan — the largest, most aggressive, and most prestigious of the major Ork clans — Grimskull has built a WAAAGH! that has devastated entire sectors of Imperial space through the simple but effective strategy of being the biggest, meanest Ork on any given battlefield and daring anyone to prove otherwise.

The Goff Clan prizes close combat above all other forms of warfare, viewing ranged weapons as the tools of the weak and cowardly. Grimskull is the perfect expression of this philosophy — a towering mass of green muscle and crude armor who wades into the thickest fighting with a power klaw in one hand and a bellowing war cry on his lips. His physical size is extraordinary even by Ork standards, standing well over three meters tall and continuing to grow with each victory, as is the natural way of greenskin physiology.

What sets Grimskull apart from the countless other Ork Warbosses who rise and fall across the galaxy is his extraordinary capacity for survival. He has been shot, stabbed, burned, exploded, run over, dropped from orbit, and left for dead on more occasions than even his own retinue can count, yet he always returns — scarred, patched together by Painboyz, often sporting new cybernetic replacements for lost limbs, but always ready to fight again. This incredible resilience has earned him the epithet 'The Unbreakable' and has contributed to a growing mythology among the Orks under his command that Grimskull literally cannot be killed.
