Wazdakka Gutsmek is the living embodiment of the Ork obsession with speed — a thundering, roaring, red-painted force of nature who has dedicated his entire existence to the twin pursuits of going as fast as physically possible and killing anything that gets in his way. As the greatest Speed Freak the greenskin species has ever produced, Wazdakka occupies a unique position in Ork culture — part Warboss, part Mekboy, and entirely devoted to the belief that speed is the ultimate expression of Orkish superiority. He rides the legendary Bike of the Aporkalypse, a monstrous custom-built warbike of such staggering power and speed that it makes even the most advanced vehicles of other races seem pedestrian by comparison, and he leads a vast horde of Speed Freeks drawn from every clan who share his singular devotion to velocity.

The Speed Freeks represent one of the most distinctive subcultures within Ork civilization — warriors who prioritize speed and mobility above all other tactical considerations. While most Orks are content to advance on foot in great mobs, trusting in numbers and ferocity to carry the day, Speed Freeks build their entire approach to warfare around vehicles — warbikes, warbuggies, trukks, and battlewagons that they modify obsessively to extract every last drop of speed from their engines. The Evil Sunz clan has the strongest affinity for speed, but Speed Freeks can be found in every Ork clan, united by the shared belief that "da red wunz go fasta" and the conviction that the truest expression of Ork martial prowess is to hit the enemy at maximum velocity while firing every weapon you have.

Wazdakka has elevated this philosophy to something approaching a religion. His personal quest is nothing less than to ride his bike across the entire galaxy, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake as he seeks ever more challenging opponents and ever more extreme speeds. This quest has taken him from one end of the galaxy to the other, through warp storms and across void passages that should be impassable to any vehicle, and he has left behind a legend of carnage and velocity that is spoken of with awe in Ork camps and with dread in Imperial command centers. His combination of mechanical genius and combat prowess makes him a uniquely dangerous adversary — he builds his own weapons, designs his own vehicles, and fights with a skill and ferocity that would be remarkable even without the terrifying war machines at his disposal.
